Today in one of my Deaf Culture classes we were discussing different areas that could be targeted or be an advantage. It is amazing how often we do not realize our privilege in society because it is an unspoken gift to us. I've realized that my abilities, christian beliefs and white background never really cross my mind.
Today during the discussion we came across the word "transgender". These are two new signs I learned for that word.
