The power of Delilah

Recently a friend helped me out with my Bible project.  It was focused on Delilah. I wanted to focus on Delilah's role within the story and what I came to find was essentially a power struggle.

I played around with a lot of ideas and decided on that first one shown.  I felt that out of everything that I had shot it was the most effective for the message I was trying to relay.

I really appreciated all of Betesida's work!  She's so beautiful.

Picture Day with Katie & Summer

The warm up to our shoot

Katie kept saying.."oookay. you just need to tell me what to do. i'm really awkward."

This is when we really got started.  The girls were getting comfortable and the sun was perfect.

This is Katie's sexy teased hair.   She was looking so innocently sexy as ever.

So great.  The sun was hitting her hair perfectly.

It was fun working with Cord, especially because we could capture different angles.

Katie seriously has the prettiest blue eyes.  This scarf just made them pop even more.  ...there are a few more shots of her eyes coming up that will just make you melt.

My mom had recently given me those flowers through college.  Apparently they sent out letters to everyone about supporting cancers with Daffodils. They were the prettiest things.  I had to use them for props : )

Super similar to the last one but I liked that it was more of a full body shot.

I really liked how airy this photo turned out.  It's so light and smooth.

Oh. Summer knew how to get it.  She's got that awkward model leg goin on.

No one ever made secrets look so cute..

This was taken at a creepy cabin off of 33.  Summer and Cord refused to get out of the car, but me and Katie were totally down.   I scoped it out to make sure I didn't see anyone.  It looked pretty run down.  Anyhow, it was a good random place for a few good shots.

These shots were inspired by Cord's picture of me and Madeline from her high school photography project.  It looked almost identical: I was standing on the car yelling (like Summer) and Madeline was lost and confused (just like Katie)

Eyes. 'Nuff said.

Cord wanted to do a shoot with peeps.

I LOVEd loved loved that these two were so opposite...looks, personality, the whole enchilada.  It made the shoot even more fun and so different.  I really enjoyed it.
